Walking the Camino Over 50 and 60

Many of our guests are in their 50s, 60s and 70s. The Camino is absolutely possible — it just needs the right support.

    Choose your distance each day

Instead of fixed 20–25 km stages, our walks are planned around a few comfortable hours. If knees or hips need a rest, the car can shorten the day without missing the next town.

    Comfort matters

Private rooms with en-suite bathrooms, good beds and hearty breakfasts make a real difference to recovery. Luggage transfer means you never carry more than a daypack.

    Practical tips

    • Train with regular walks of 8–12 km in the months before you travel
    • Use walking poles on descents and cobblestones
    • Bring broken-in shoes rather than new boots
    • Tell us about any mobility or medical needs so we can plan around them
